Bow Hunting

Mytilus Hunting Experience has been designed with the perfect bow hunting experience in mind. Our enclosed game area of 1000 ha has three hides, three waterholes and a multitude of game species.

It is especially set aside for this activity and with the guidance of a professional bow hunter, you can be sure to expect your ideal hunt! Allowing a maximum of only three bow hunters at a time, the farm is reserved for the exclusive encounter between man and nature.

The overall size of the farm is 5300 ha and the game found on the farm includes a large variety of species. Apart from regular antelopes such as springbuck, oryx and kudu, more exotic game includes waterbuck, blesbuck, wildebeest, giraffe, Burchell zebra, eland and red hartebeest. Since 2017 we also offer black wildebeest and impala.

Operating according to NAPHA standards, experience in bow hunting is compulsory to hunt at Mytilus Hunting Experience. Hunting times are either early morning (5 am to 11 am) or from 2pm till sunset. Walk and stalk options and three hides are also available.

DAILY RATES

• Accommodation N$650 per person including refreshments
• Use of farm N$750 vehicle
• Day Fee - 1 Hunter N$1750
• Day Fee - 2 Hunter N$1550
• Day Fee - 3 Hunters N$1350
• Day Fee - Non hunters and observers N$250 per person

ADDITIONAL:

• Transfer from the airport to the farm or vice versa: N$1500
• Accommodation prior and post hunt N$650 per person per night
• Meals: Breakfast N$80 per person, lunch or lunch box: N$100 per person, dinner: N$150 per person
• Trophy fees for wounded and lost game will be paid 100% in full
• Use of farm vehilce per day N$750

ACTIVITIES available on the farm:

• Game drive : one hour - including beverages N$500 p.p. minimum of 2, maximum of 6 persons

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

• A 50 % deposit is due on confirmation of accommodation.
• Cancellation 3 months ahead of hunt full amount paid will be refunded.
• Cancellation 2 months ahead of hunt 50% of deposit will be refunded.
• Cancellation 1 month ahead of hunt 25% of deposit will be refunded.
• Cancellation less than 1 month ahead of hunt no refund will be paid
