Welcome to Mytilus Hunting Experience where the red sands of the Kalahari are dotted with camelthorn trees and generous wide open space spells out peace and tranquility.
The farm with its slow and relaxed pace and rich game population is the perfect location for bow hunting – a hunting technique fast gaining momentum in Namibia. If you value and respect nature, this might be the answer for you.
The farm is ideally equipped for this activity, providing the guidance of a professional bow hunter (who can also help you to design your own unique hunting package) and a fenced in bow hunting area with three hides. The farm is 5 300 ha large and the game found on the farm includes a large variety of species. Apart from regular antelopes such as springbuck, oryx and kudu, more exotic game includes waterbuck, blesbuck, wildebeest, giraffe, Burchell zebra, Livingstone eland, dik-dik and red hartebeest. During 2017 impalas and black wildebeest were also added to the list.
This family-friendly farm also caters for those who just want to tag along or are simply looking for relaxation. The renovated guesthouse is situated next to a 100ha camp with tame game which includes Livingstone eland, kudu, oryx , a dik-dik all raised by hand on the farm.
The guesthouse and guest rooms are generous and stylish yet comfortable. The managing couple can cater for you, but we also offer a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering. The one double room and two single rooms are en-suite, each with their own verandah walking out onto a braai-area. Guest facilities are all wheelchair friendly and include a beautifully furnished guest lounge, dining room, living room, bar, fireplace and library.
The farm is in close proximity to Windhoek, located only 110 km south east of Hosea Kutako Airport.
